Ballinastoe Ladies Golf Club – Golf Weekend in Seafield Golf Club, Ballymoney, Gorey, Co. Wexford.
1st – 3rd October, 2010.
The Ladies had a most enjoyable weekend of golf in Seafield Golf Club.
* On Friday 1st October – 18 holes played in beautiful sunshine, making perfect conditions for good scores all round.
* On Saturday 2nd October – 18 holes played in mixed weather, but overall good scores from all the members.
* On Sunday 3rd October – a further 9 holes were played and again in glorious sunshine.
Score for the overall 2 days (2 x 18 holes) are as follows:-
- Overall winner fo 2 day competition was Geraldine Connick, 31 points Friday and 30 points Saturday. Total 61 points.
- Second Place, Joan Daly – 50 points
- Third Place, Bernadette Gillis (Lady Captain) - 45 points.
- Fourth Place: Susan Doyle, (Lady Vice Captain), Deirdre Cleary, Joyce Dempsey.
- Fifth Place: Susan Carroll.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Ger, the Overall Winner, who played excellent golf over the weekend.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank Mr. Ciaran Carroll for sponsoring the overall prize.
