Recent Club News
The Latest on club news…
* The Ballinastoe Golf Club AGM was held last month. Many important points were addressed, while a number of pending issues will be resolved in the coming weeks once the committee has a chance to discuss the matters in full. Once these matters are addressed the committee will endevour to communicate them to each member.
* Paddy King has now stepped down as the Ballinastoe Golf Club Mens Captain. Paddy did a fantastic job throughout 2010 and everyone in the golf club is extremly appreciative of your efforts.
* Willie McAnaspie has now been appointed as the 2011 Ballinastoe Golf Club Mens Captain. Willie has served as the clubs Handicap Secretary for numerious seasons now and was also the Mens Vice Captain for 2010. No doubt Willie will do a great job in 2011 and will help to guide the club to continued success.
* Other appointments:- Dave Hanway has now taken over as Handicap Secretary & Paddy Harvey has now taken over as the Club Secretary.
* 2011 will prove to be another landmark season for Ballinastoe Golf Club. The club will be entering into a number of Inter Club Competitions. There is a ‘Sign Up’ sheet in the club house for the Inter Clubs Team events for 2011, anyone that is interested in playing please feel free to write your name down. We can not be aware of your interest if you don’t ‘Sign Up’. Please note that you must have an official GUI handicap to be able to enter.
