We would encourage Lady members to continue meeting on Sunday mornings at 12 o’clock for usual 18 hole Stableford competition.

Welcome Message:-
The Golf Club has seen great improvement and development over the last 12 months but non more important than the Ladies section of the club.
We are very proud to say that we now have a thriving Ladies Section which is going from strength to strength. The Ladies club is now officially affiliated to the I.L.G.U. All lady members can obtain a recognised handicap and can compete in official club competitions.
The club is very keen to keep expanding the Ladies Section. All standards of golfer are very welcome, from complete beginner to seasoned enthusiast.
Throughout the coming months we encourage Lady golfers to attend on Wednesday mornings from 10:00am onwards, Thursday Evenings in the Spring/Summer months from 6:00pm onwards & on Sunday afternoons from 12:00pm onwards. There is a tee timesheet up in the clubhouse for the Sunday slots.
The most important message that we wish to convey is that the Ladies Section of Ballinastoe Golf Club is up and running. We would be delighted to welcome you and your friends to the club for a complementary round with a member.
If you are interested in Golf or are keen just to try the sport out then please feel free to pop in to the club any day of the week and give our course a go.
Membership is open. There is NO entrance fee and the annual subscription is €350. Direct debit payments can be made over a 7 month period of €50 installments. If you wish to discuss this further or any other points of interest please feel free to call the numbers provided above or alternatively drop into the club any day of the week.

Captains Farewell
It has been a great honour and privilege to be your Captain over the past year. The year has been a very enjoyable one and very hectic. I would like to thank everyone for their support in what truly has been a marvelous year for our club.
I would like to thank the Men’s Captain Willie McAnaspie and the Committee for all their encouragement. They cheerfully assisted us with the many uphill tasks we had to work through. Also a huge thanks to both Fergal and Anthony Mulligan for all the support and hard work which they put into the club.
We can honestly say we produce value for membership which of course is the best way to attract new members. The Ladies Section consists of a very active, vibrant group and I have no doubt that the Club will go from strength to strength headed up by the New Lady Captain Joyce Dempsey.
I will finish by saying I am very proud to have been your Captain – Thank you all.
